Rootz Ltd is pleased to announce the addition of iGaming veteran Matti Metsola to their team. Mr Metsola will serve as the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer for Rootz.
Matti brings over a decade of industry experience to the mix and we are thrilled to have him on board during these exciting times. Matti Metsola started his iGaming career in 2008 at Unibet. Subsequently, he has headed the legal departments at major iGaming companies: Mr Green, Gaming Innovation Group (GIG), Gambling.com Group, and most recently, Mandalorian Technologies.
“I have crossed paths with many of my Rootz colleagues at some point of my career. This is truly a dream team, in terms of creativity and brainpower but also in terms of their unfading commitment to doing business ethically.”
“The last months have been difficult for many people and businesses alike. I’ve been glad to see the industry stepping up its efforts to combat problem gaming. Regulators such as Malta Gaming Authority have been leading the way by, for example, issuing notices on socially responsible commercial communications during these potentially distressing times.”
“On a positive side effect, I’d like to think that last couple of months have also made people much more demanding in terms of quality they expect from home entertainment of any variety, be it online fitness classes, home delivery of food or, indeed, gaming. When you are offering a first class quality product like Rootz does, the more critical the customers are the better it is for your business. In the long run I’m certain that we will benefit from those increased expectations.”
The addition of Matti Metsola at this time is welcome indeed with Rootz’s second online casino about to join its flagship brand, Wildz.com, in the coming weeks.
