Getting this many nominations is a sign that we have a bunch of skilled and motivated employees. Thanks to our team's exceptional efforts, we remain grateful- our work is being recognised across the industry. I am super proud to be part of this incredible journey so far. "

So what did Rootz do in 2022 to be considered for these industry awards?
Exciting new brands
Reflecting upon the year, it's been a busy one for everyone on the team. Rootz has made significant steps forward in many areas, with April seeing the launch of our fourth casino brand, Spinz.
This is the first online casino to integrate daily streaming content on its own independent platform built by us, giving our world-class streamers a level of stability on which to work that other platforms cannot afford. We've further amped up engagement with various viewers tuning in for Spinz's HD content being rewarded with free "Level Ups" whenever a streamer lands a win of 100x or more on Saturdays, and on Sundays, €50 bonuses every time one of our streamers achieves a win of 1,000x or more.
August then saw the launch of Chipz, our fifth brand, built exclusively for the Finnish market. Chipz uses the proven Pay 'n Play system to take players seamlessly from their initial deposit straight into their choice of our 3,500+ games, with no registration required. What's more, we have implemented a comprehensive set of payment options for our players.
Acquired a German licence
More recently, we were among the first online gaming operators to attain a full German iGaming licence under the new terms set out by Germany's State Treaty on Gambling 2021. Looking to the near future, new licences in Ontario and the Netherlands are in the pipeline, bringing with them the added convenience of a shared e-wallet across all our brands: Wildz, Wheelz, Caxino, Spinz, and Chipz.
Tech is key
That's not forgetting tech, with Rootz staying true to its core mantra, "automate the game". Some of our most groundbreaking achievements this year have occurred behind the scenes.
We continued to move forward in advancing efficiency and automation, optimising query response and front-end performance, and providing more dynamic customer journeys based on a deep understanding of our players' preferences, built on machine-learning. But our most significant technical achievement this year has been our real-time data warehouse. The pioneering technology is built 100% in-house. It enables revenue to be reflected in our reports just 5 seconds after the wager is placed, granting a much greater accuracy in tracking our business performance.
A bright future
In 2023, we will continue to set our goals higher than ever whilst expanding and driving innovation within the iGaming realm. We look forward to seeing our industry colleagues at the IGA awards in February.
